Better than getting four players who will never leave England.....

or a T20 specialist who won't even play county cricket and a bunch of players who won't make the first XI

but thinking about it Hales may not even be DFM's own best lottery signing - strong competition in his squad from Finch, Voges, Lumb and Wallace ... I guess Finch may be injured so may end up playing only half the season, Voges will only play the early part of the seaon, and Lumb might be missing the start of the season with an injury as well ... still a pretty decent group.

Gidman doesn't seem to have had a great start to the season, I see he's gone for just 8 today. Maybe he's not settling at Notts - very early yet in the season - he was one of the players I would have bid high for if I thought I might have actually got him

yeah, doesn't make much sense - like Eng suddenly making Woakes first change at the WC. Gidman's being batted too low in the order as well tbh

I originally had Mitchell as 12th man if Hogan didn't play, but changed it at the last minute to get Palladino at 12 instead (I figured I'd need some bowling given the number of runs powelly's boys scored last week). I did fancy Mitch though and nearly took Hales out in order to keep 2 keepers in (extra half points, I thought). Fortunately common sense prevailed and I kept Hales and moved Mitchell to 13th in the order..... thank goodness

Of course, Daryl Mitchell will probably score a shed load of runs this match, now, and Madsen will have a 'mare

Looks like 8 a side in your game with the Eagles RD. Elsewhere, only the KP Rejects don't have a full compliment, they have 10.
