not sure what was more enjoyable , watching some of the football arsenal played today or hearing Michael owen having to commentate on Liverpool getting thrashed by them , he always comes across as having a bit of a grudge against arsenal

Man City need to buck up now otherwise they could be in danger of finishing 4th in a two-horse race.

I predicted a few weeks ago that, despite how close the top four race was, it would not last.

If Arsenal beat Liverpool here, Man Utd beat Villa, we fail to beat Everton and Spurs fail to beat Burnley (all four of which are very possible in my view), then Arsenal and Man Utd will be nine points and eight points clear of 5th place respectively after this weekend. Pretty much race over, with seven games still to go.

Just need Spurs to slip up tomorrow.

SKY and BT will no doubt try their best to promote "the race for 2nd" and "the race for 5th", but it will all be fairly meaningless. It's just the difference between getting to avoid the respective qualifying rounds.

Two different strikes, one from a dead ball, and one with the moving ball. Not a lot in it to be honest, both left footers, but I admire the control of Adams effort with the way he cut across the ball.

Being a left footed player myself, it is just another example of the sheer genius in many left footed players!

I still prefer the Martin Scott goal for Livingston last season against Alloa. Ball came over his shoulder and he volleyed it in from 40 odd yards. Again left footed!
