I'm amazed it's taken them this long to sack him. Should have gone at half time on Saturday.

i think they will take Allardyce, as it's well known that he was leaving us at the end of the season...if he does go, im sure he will keep them up

Don't know if it's good or bad news for the big 2 NE clubs but according to The Guardian both Sunderland & Newcastle are targeting Steve McLaren for next season!

According to a few tweets Allardyce would be interested in the Sunderland job next season but only if they remain in the Premier League. Don't know if that's just people speculating or something more.

If they are prepared to wait they'll probably go for Big Sam.

*modded* Advocaat is the bookies favourite though.

Liverpool go one up. Henderson got a bit lucky with the goal, but made a good run.

Didn't know much about it did he, swung his leg at the same time as the defender and the ricochet bounced the ball over the keepers head.

Sterling seems to have his mind on other things at the moment, £200,000 a week deals and the like!

He certainly thinks he is. But for me, he's a long way from that.

Henderson's probably been Liverpool's best player this season, and is the main reason for the present form they are in. Bet he's not asking for £200,000 a week

surprised its just a short term thing with allardyce or mcclaren still being tipped to take over in the summer

he doesn't strike me as the type of guy who can come in at short notice and be a big motivator in the dressing room and he really doesn't have a lot of time to change anything else

Do the bookies pay out on Advocaat seeing as he's only in it for the short term?
