41/1 chasing just 153. Looks like a huge defeat. If conditions are overcast it is very probable that we will collapse even during WC. But then with few minnows in both groups we will get through the knockouts for sure. If conditions are normal we will put on huge scores of 300+.
Test FL's - 8 , ODI and Tests Combo FL's - 1, ODI World Cup - 1, ODI FL's - 7, ODI and T20i combo FL's - 1 ,
T20 Franchisee FL's - 7, T20i Cup FL's- 1, T20 FL's- 5 , 50 Overs Domestic FL's - 1, 40 Overs Domestic FL's- 1

This break is disgraceful. England's batsmen are starting to get themselves in and then they have to go off and start all over again. Puts England at a disadvantage. Wouldn't it have made sense to take the innings break at the end of the innings. Pure nonsense.

As an aside, you can see how much Bell has worked at his one day battin, not afraid to go over the top.

I don't mind one loss if we are going to win much more than we lose. Just wondering what is our WL sequence in last 20 matches. read somewhere today that we did bad overseas in NZL and SA so that sequence will be bad. :hmmm

Thanks. That is bad.

I will also try to see sequence in last 20 matches as those are the likely playing 11 in WC. I would like to consider the tour of AUS,SA,NZL and ENG. Don't think we toured in countries with opposite playing and environment conditions. Guess Asian matches/conditions is a non issue for us more often than not in ODI's.

So is there some assistance in the pitch for the bowlers?

there was a little bit of swing for Anderson up front but it was mostly bounce that troubled the batsmen than any lateral movement

Cheers Rich.

The batting wickets in the test probably did not prepare the Indian bats for such wickets.

Am sure most wickets will be pretty flat in the WC
