Saying 'speak English' sounds bad, but in context, it wasn't all that. They were having verbals, so no reason to see why Warner wouldn't want to know what was said to him. I still think he's a di.k though.

I can understand the context only if Rohit was talking with Warner in hindi. But we don't know whether Rohit was talking to Warner or team mate in hindi. If Rohit was talking in hindi with Indian player and then as it not allowed to speak to batsman in between overs, Warner later asked Rohit to speak in English. Anyways Rohit's English is better than Warner's Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati and Telugu.

24/1. If Ajinkya does well then Shikhar might be out of WC playing 11, with openers being Ajinkya and Rohit and Ambati to come as floater at 3 or 6 depending on scorecard.

if we want to win england need to go for more wickets here

too often we are happy to try and contain for players to get in and we end up conceding 285+ anyway

as i type cracking pull shot from rahane for 6, made a lovely sound off the bat

Run Rate nearing 4 runs an over. Need to make the most of lack of non specialist spinners. Plenty of opportunity to cover up the slow run rate.

I think Ajinkya has done relatively enough to keep Shikhar out of the playing 11.

Amazing really how much the game has changed. 20 years ago 58 for 2 off the first 15 would have been considered a good start, but today I'm not sure what they think og that, probably average.

I remember the first time I saw 75 scored off the first 15 and I was in awe. Then 300 as a total, and the time Australia chased down 300 after the kiwis put the runs on the board. Think it was the Kiwis, anyways I'm going back a long way, a long, long way.

I think you are getting confused Mark with the match England scored 296 in, a then record for the Benson and Hedges series. New Zealand then chased the target down.
