I did Mo'hit when he got his record. As in a sort of urban Morehit. Has that already been done?

No india best policy is 2 spinners and 3 pace bowlers.
the 4th pacer won't take wickets or even keep things tight.
I know Ashwin was the most expensive bowler today but Axar was the most economical and generally when the spinners were bowling in tandem during 15-30 overs australia found it hard to score runs.

The question is more or less which Two spinners should india play, Jadeja should play all games if he fit india really missed his batting today.
Ashwin should be the 2nd spinner because of the variety but interesting enough Dhoni said he may play 2 left arm spinners if conditions/opposition suit them which is probably a warning to Ashwin he needs to perform or he is out considering everyone though Axar was competing with jadeja in the team.

Brilliant innings from Nohit today btw on a pitch that wasn't too flat, scored more than 50% of the team total in a relatively low scoring match (by modern day standards). Almost chanceless, in fact, which is rare with him. Much better than.the 264 on a highway against club level bowlers.

Now for some consistency to get rid of the Nohit tag!

Gabba not hosting quarter finals it is either Sydney or Melbourne.
TBH I would back india to win at both ground Sydney should take turn and melbourne been very slow lately even today pitch wasn't that quick and was a bit 2 paced which probably explained the low totals.

If India avoid NZ, Aus I would be happy with the quarter final against Sri lanka or England at those two grounds.

What about rohit 'no consistency' sharma?

Not in Tests. He has 2 fifties and 7 single digit scores (including 4 ducks, twice the no. of fifties he has got!) in 16 innings in overseas Tests.

Lost comprehensively on the only pitch with a bit of pace and bounce.

But you're initial criticism was for ODI's. In tests, I will agree with you, in that he needs more runs.

When did they shift the QF to Sydney? Makes no sense to host 2 quarters at the same venues that are hosting a semi and the final.. :?

I know was thinking that yesterday although someone on twitter did Say gabba is usually off limits due to the rain.
Perth should have gotten a game and new zealand should have gotten another quarter final makes no sense for Melbourne and Sydney to get two knockout games and so many top class games.

But I'm pretty sure there was a QF at Gabba when.the schedule was originally released? When did they shift it to Sydney? Or am I dreaming?
