India have batted very differently from England in response to early wickets. But, they've had a fair amount of luck!

Maybe it's sensible for England to respond to a bad situation with more caution because they're not that good?

But from 39-4, or whatever it was. They done well to get to 230.

Rich, imo there is clear lack of quality and confidence in them in ODI format and affects attitude and approach. ? Why this lack i do not no. England cricket management should find the reason in cricketing system or whatever and find a solution to all this.

they did but it was still never enough

I just think we are too cautious whenever we lose early wickets AND wait too long before we try to accelerate which means we maybe keep things respectable but still lose

Given their limitations. It didn't extend to giving them a near par score. But they probably did as well as they could.

I don't really agree there is a lack of quality , there is definitely a cautious mindset and its something we have always had
