Bradford shooting themselves in the foot big style by allowing Gillingham to grab an injury time equaliser, when City had enough chances to put the game beyond doubt. Going from controlling the game to blind panic in the final 10 minutes allowed this to happen.

Suppose things even themselves out after Bradford did ride their luck a bit against Preston last week, but came home with 3pts.

A superb 3-1 win against Leyton Orient.

Wasn't easy though, Bradford created so many chances to put the game beyond doubt and Leyton Orient threw a sucker punch of an equaliser out of nowhere. Then Chris Dagnall got sent off for a two footed lunge on Billy Knott, before Bradford proceeded in finishing the game off.

14 points dropped so far this season from winning positions and only one point gained from a losing position. Have to find a way of holding and increasing leads on a more consistent basis. On a positive note 10 games unbeaten.

Massimo Cellino expelled by The Football League as owner of Leeds United due to being found guilty of tax evasion in Italy. Though it is commented the offence expires on 18th March and Cellino can be club owner again.

Interesting to see what The Football League do next, also the FA haven't made noises of this though they are probably too busy with their moral crusades to care.

Back on top of the Championship again, must be about the third time now this season. Fabulous game of football, goals, fantastic passing moves and some poor defending to boot. After conceding a two goal lead to Millwall a fortnight ago we decided that to keep trying to score goals was the way to go today instead of trying to sit on leads.

You would still back one or two teams to pull away from the rest but right now I don't think I've seen a division so squashed together, a poor run can put you right in trouble down the bottom in next to no time and a similarly a good run can see you in contention at the top. I'm just enjoying it while it lasts knowing full well that a poor run could be round the next corner.

A superb 1-0 victory against Chesterfield, not the easiest of places to visit and I can't remember the last time Bradford got 3pts there. It was one of those games Bradford could have put the game to bed or Chesterfield snatch an equaliser late on.

5 wins out of 6 in all competitions and unbeaten in 6 games. A combination of Phil Parkinson finding a settled side, along with attacking players on good form.

Channel 5 have won rights to broadcast Football League highlights, starting from next season with a 9pm slot time.

Nice to see a free to air television channel taking league football seriously, starting with a friendlier viewing time. I hope this extends to showing fixtures when there is a full calendar i.e. christmas fixtures, international weekend and midweek.
