Yep, all a bit tight there at the top of division 2, mind you must still be over the moon with your start after your miraculopus escape last season.

Pleased that Bournemouth have been staying below the radar in recent weeks after the brief moment at the summit after two games. Good run of 4 wins out of the last 5 has seen us creep slowly up the league. Don't think we're really missing Grabban, Wilson seems like a great replacement. Still a long way to go and plenty of ups and downs to come before the season end.

No coincidence our upturn of form has come since Artur Boruc joined our ranks.

It'll be interesting if you can hold onto him when January comes. We don't need him back, he doesn't want to come back, we'll no doubt be pleased to get him off the wage bill if the opportunity arises.

I wouldn't be surprised if a European club, or maybe even another PL club, comes in for him on January. I doubt we'd be looking for a fee for him. He's got his international career to think of.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Ill remember to be somewhere else then. I think another Brighton live game might kill me off..... to be fair we are reaping what we sowed under Poyet, we were only ever a tough team to beat who had discipline, not enough attacking quality in the team.

Take away the stubborn defence, and we are a League One team.

His Polish career is over now, surely? Sczezny (sp?) is about 12 year younger and surely has that shirt??? Boruc is a good keeper, just have to overlook some of his disasters..... they will come. Only thing that stopped him being a top rated keeper.

I remember Saints fans talking about him being brilliant, and 12 months later he is basically on a free transfer...... too error prone, always has been. Tbf, if you dont get him back in January then you hopped off the train before it crashed.

Boruc has had a few colouful moments on and off the pitch. In a recent interview I heard, he suggested he has matured in recent times due to family responsibilities and maybe that includes his onfield antics. From what I've seen of him so far he hasn't looked to do anything out the ordinary and has only conceded 2 goals in 6 games. Maybe he is due a moment sooner rather then later but i reckon he has earned that possibility.

Whether we can hold onto him is another matter entirely, he was very non committal about where his future lies.

Birmingham were down to 10 men after 7 minutes but have been down to 10 men in their last 2 games and only shipped one goal.

By all accounts we were pretty poor in the first half but after the Boruc penalty save early in the second we ran riot. I'm not getting carried away with the result as Birmingham are in turmoil and as Southampton proved last week these results happen from time to time. Eddie Howe will keep the players feet on the ground but I reckon the home game against Brighton next Saturday will be tough due the added pressure of expectation.

2 wins, 2 draws and 6 losses in our last 10 games.

Some how still in contact with the leaders but things at the City Ground are going to need to change. All since Andy Reid got injured.

Seems no team want to the league at present

It's bad, yes, but not quite that bad. That would basically be a manager every two months.

It's 36 managers in 22 years. So one every seven or eight months.

Gosh I despise Doncaster Rovers, resorting to gamesmanship, playacting and thuggery at every opportunity. Fair enough by playing hard, but moaning when things don't go your way is disgraceful.

Hopefully karma works it's magic way and Rovers are relegated, or at least Dickov loses his job.

Forest really need a win tonight. Should beat Brentford at home tonight. But the rut we are in at the moment means we might well loose 3-0.

Used up all out luck in the first few games.

Not far off with the scoreline

I've never known the Championship to be so unpredictable. Who would've thought Bournemouth be topping the league, Fulham struggling for their lives, the three promoted teams not even struggling with Brentford in 9th place.

Its a great league. As a fan a lot more enjoyable than the predictable premiership.

As for Forest, well 9 games with out a win. Pearce didnt even start with a striker last night. Seems the teams all over the shop
