Surprised Clarke hasn't already hit upon the idea of floating English cricket on the stock market.

And then phase out the cricketing part of the company for being less profitable.

You're probably right. I can imaging Clarke wondering what this cricket-thingy is all about.

Missing Williamson, Taylor, Neesham and Ryder but still a side with vast international experience.

Scotland did well to restrict New Zealand early doors and kept in range of a challenging total up until the final ball.

He has to do things like this to pad out his eventual biography. He's probably the only one who hasn't been slated by KP so he can't fill 4 chapters with retaliation like the rest. :P

A domestic One Dayer in Sydney today saw exactly 800 runs scored and only 4 wickets go down.

Tassie scored 1/398, setting a few records on the way: highest opening partnership, then the highest partnership, and the highest individual score - to Ben Dunk, 229 n.o.

Queensland then chased down the runs with a couple of overs spare, 3/402. Breaking the partnership record that was only 3 hours old - after it had stood for 35 years or so......

Not a day for the bowlers. It was at North Sydney Oval. A ground for batting records.

And still not the highest List A opening partnership this week!
