Tomlinson
Adams
(Overseas)
Briggs/Coles/Wood/Balcombe
Dawson
Ervine
(Smith)
(Vince)

Wouldn't be too upset with that I guess, presuming we do get an overseas bowler or try and fill the gap with available domestic players.

10th wicket partnerships against us this season : 2, 45, 25, 29, 0, 12, 15, 17, 42*, 65, 6, 23, 0, 4. = 285 runs @ 21.93

10th wicket partnerships for us this season : 11, 26, 2, 10, 0, 16, 4, 1, 60, 115, 26, 7, 23. = 301 runs @ 23.15

Nice to know we've given out as much as we've taken.

Interesting stats. It certainly seemed more than <22 when we were waiting to bat or win a match! Although with some low scores around this season the two averages seem higher than one would expect when some counties seem to lose their first batsman before 10 runs have been scored.
I wonder what the average for the first wicket is for and against?

If Leicester have any sense, they'll declare. Given the rain around, conditions could be perfect for bowling. So once we get out (assuming there is some play today), surely they'd want to get on with bowling straight away.

Worcs have managed to pick up their third bowling point before the 110 overs. So even-stevens between the three of us so far on this round of matches.

( NOT including this weeks game )

Our partnerships : 71, 179, 8, 39, 69, 17, 23, 2 ,17, 0, 31, 0, 10, 110, 14, 75, 21, 32, 1, 66, 46, 117, 47, 57 = 1052 @ 43.83

Against us : 2, 24, 10, 21, 74, 3, 14*, 1, 4, 35, 47, 31, 31, 6, 21, 6, 9, 3, 4, 17, 5. 368 runs @ 18.4

Interestingly, we haven't reduced a team 0/1 this season, but also only once has a team passed 50, whereas we have 3 hundred partnerships along with 5 over 50.

Although not a great day for batting a damp outfield will make the ball difficult to grip for the bowlers and it should soften up quicker. I'm thinking along the lines of an exceedingly scratchy start to our innings, maybe under 2 an over for the first 20 or so.

Hopefully Leicester declare, and we can get on with as many bonus points as possible.

Surprised that they didn't declare, but at least we got it wrapped it straight away. Still, a waste of three overs though.

Just need Carbs and Adams to bat positively, even if conditions are tricky.

If its going to be a day of stop start like it has been so far, i'd rather there was no more play today and Hants can come out tomorrow and try and get 5 batting points in better weather.
