Oh dear :facepalm.

Just wondering, is the FTP still being followed? Was just checking availability of overseas players next year.

Glamorgan pass 200. A recovery of sorts considering that Kent had them 7-3, and then 90-5.

An Australian wanting to get in what is quite a set test squad for the ashes could be a good option if Abbott doesn't want to return?

Faulkner
Cutting
Starc

An Indian, Pakistani, South African or Sri Lankan test regular would also be able to play a large amount of the season considering the FTP. Bit early but thought I'd just post it.

Unfortunately these days it's not just about test cricket. You've got vast amounts of ODI and t20I cricket. Lions/A cricket. The IPL. The Carribean PL. The Champions League.

And now you also have to throw in the fact that very little Championship cricket is played in July and August (certainly compared to April, May and September, any way). There's little point getting excited about a Chanderpaul or a Pujara, for example, being available for that period, if actually we'd be needing them to play t20 and 50 over cricket.

Derby slowly throwing away their great start against Worcs. 153-1 has become 183-4.

I thought the rules changed from next year, so you could sign just about anyone.

Not too sure on that but I was just listing players/countries that may be available more than others :).

FTP was the list of fixtures for internationals up until 2020 which they're ditching soon.

Unless Leics want to make a game of this on Wednesday the best we can hope for now is a draw. 3 bowling points look a long way off right now. Big toss to lose this morning although our current bowling attack is pretty toothless and wouldn't stand a cat in hells chance in div one.

We know that though, it's nothing new. It's the reason why we got relegated to D2 in the first place.

Makes no difference because Dawson bowls him in his next over, with no addition to the score.
