Impressive win for Yorkshire after how many they conceded in the first innings.

Exciting goings on at Old Trafford.

A superb win when a draw looked favourite for the most part.

Still a long to way to go between now and 26th September, more so when Yorkshire lose Kane Williamson after the Lancashire game.

Careful - after seeing Scarborough, nowhere else would ever seem the same again.

A bit like being in the trenches in WWI... shell shock style?

Shell shocked as in thinking it's absolutely brilliant and want to come back again year after year.

A compact ground, so close to the action and spectators are allowed to play on the outfield during the intervals or inspect the wicket.

Come to Hove sometime, you can always wander onto the turf there.

When I was a lad we used to take a bat and tennis ball and there was always a mad scramble for those wire litter bins to use as a wicket. Sometimes you'd see about ten mini games going on all over the outfield. And a group of parents clustered around the square as if they knew what they were looking at.

Went to Hove three years ago to see Murray Goodwin score 274 not out, decent setup too. Highlight of the day was seeing a relatively young mother skying a shot off her sons bowling.

Certainly not a trip to be done in one day though, may have to involve an overnight stay in future.

Yes, probably. The pitch at Canterbury for the QF on Friday wasn't great.

Lancs recovering against Yorks. York without Bresnan and Plunkett. Have to view this as a must win.

Things will look better once Prince is out.

Rashid getting Prince before lunch makes it a good session for Yorkshire.

I presume this pitch is going to turn.

Looking at Lancashire's line-up I'd agree with that :thumb

Really need a win as they have played one game more than both Middlesex and Durham.

Warwickshire are under the weather again. Raindrops are fall on their title challenge.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.
