Carberry has run straight off the pitch, so we're batting again.

24 overs will remain in the day.

Sounds about right. 250ish off about 70 overs. Would give us half an hour or so at them before tea tomorrow, plus a further four sessions, with them chasing a relatively notional 450ish to win.

Solid start this. Given that there's no need to declare particularly early, the only way that we could have lost this game at the half way stage was to have been bowled out for about 120 in this second innings.

40-0 looks to have ensured that that wont happen. Just see it through the close now boys, and then may hay as tomorrow progresses.

Leicester have lost a couple of quick wickets, and may not make the FO target now.

Obviously Slug going 1st thing, and falling just short of the 5th batting point was annoying, but couldn't of gone much better after that.

Carbs on to 39* and Adams to 30*, both out on those scores in the 1st innings.

Carberry brings up his 50 with a 6.

Great position we're in here. Vince, Wheater, Ervine, Coles, Wood. Any and all of them can come in and just have a hit from the word go.

Little point in sending Smith or Dawson out.

Leicester all out, giving Surrey a lead of 107.

I'm guessing Surrey would ideally like to be in a position to have five or six overs at Leicester tonight. But hopefully Leicester can pick up enough wickets throughout the day to slow Surrey's scoring down somewhat, and force them to have to bat into tomorrow.

And Worcs have recovered superbly so far, and are effectively net 73-3 now. Still work for them to, of course, but they could yet win that one.

Slightly concerned that the pitch may have died and become as flat as anything. But then again, it's not like we're rocking along at five runs per over. So hopefully not.

Glamorgan seemingly national chase of 348 vs Essex has begun.

Hope the rain stops and we can score a quick 80 and bowl.

I'd imagine they are bowling defensively, which explains our RR and wickets lost.
