Durham haven't traditionally done well in the limited overs stuff but are one of the top achieving clubs in the LVCC, coincidence?

We've made T20 finals day and who gives a *modded* about this 50 over shite.

I do. We also scraped through to Finals Day when in previous years we've done it at a canter, we lost a few games that we should of won in the T20s, like tonight.

Failed to make clean contact. Caught in the deep. All of the top four gave their wickets away. But it's thanks to Vince and Wheater that we even had a chance of chasing that down, so no blame on them.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

Hit a slower ball straight up in the air to deep mid wicket during the batting powerplay.

I'm getting so fed of that sort of stat in the middle order this season.

Why Dawson kept his place and we dropped Terry baffled me. 63,53,10* his scores this season.

Not so much blame, but was it necessary in the powerplay ?? seemed to trigger the downfall.

For me CC is 80 per cent of my interest, T20 19% and 50 over garbage 1%.

Championship is my priority, I put 50 over and T20 on equal footing.

If we don't get promoted this season it'll have been a complete disaster and winning T20 finals day will be no consolation.

And Bournemouth promotion to the Premiership! Well they are top of the Championship atm.

A VERY disappointing result last night when barely 6 an over would have done it even when the 198 partnership was broken. Hopefully Benks & Co will look at what happened - middle order failing, not even keeping the scoreboard ticking over at about a run a ball. There is every chance that this season will end disastrously after such a bright start which will make it all the more sickening as we obviously have the players to get promotion & do well in limited overs.

Surely this is not a Golden Generation like the former England football team which flatters to deceive?

Good entertaining stand from Vince & Wheater. Just a shame the rest couldn't build on it.

Both fell in the batting powerplay. Should have the option not to take it at all as it usually results in wickets going down as players look to hit over the infield.

Hampshire team

SP Terry, MJ Porter, JS Gatting*, MD Bates†, OE Robinson, DJ Balcombe, RMR Brathwaite, MJ King, JM Foley, TM Nugent, TE Barber

Surprised Wood isn't playing, since he doesn't seem to be in our LVCC plans.

Good to see Balcombe playing.
