I seem to remember Vince playing a brilliant innings against Notts at Trent Bridge before, was that a 50 over QF ??

He's played great limited overs knocks away to Warks, Sussex and Essex.

I'm struggling to think of one away to Notts.

Actually no, I think he did. He managed to get his 100 off the final over, when carrying an injury.

I think it was against Warks, come to think of it...I remember him being there at the end, did we play Warks in a T20 QF at Edgbaston ??

Yes, that was back in 2010, when we hosted (and won) finals day. Vince made a match winning half century away to Warks in the QF.

I still feel reasonably confident with him out there though, not many I'd rather have batting in these situations.

Neil McKenzie says Slug is calmer than him when batting, and that says alot, hes also let us down very few times in the last 10 years.
