We won't chase 270 plus, is Carbs injured?

Apparently so. There's no way we would have dropped him.

Maxwell's scores now going in the right direction, which is great news ahead of the t20 QF. There's a 100 on from here if he doesn't do anything stupid.

I would absolutely be promoting Coles at the loss of the next wicket. With Kabir injured, Lancs have little choice but to give 27 overs to Parry, Clark and Croft. And Coles does love hitting a spinner/slower bowler.

Just like Maxi does. Another boundary.

102 for Maxi off 75 balls. Still over 22 overs left - if he bats the innings out, he'll have 200!

Partnership is now 156 off 19.3 overs. Smith has 34 off 47 of them.

Aiming for 350 here. Smith still has more than enough time to get a 100 of his own.

Jarvis was bowling. Makes more sense to wait until Parry, Clark and Croft came back on. It's not like Dawson only came out with five overs left. There was about 70% of a t20 innings still to come.

Essex and Northants have both won in our group, joining Yorks and Derby with one win this weekend - although Derby our currently well placed to make it two wins for them.
