Raining at the Surrey game as well so I guess Surrey will declare their innings and Glamorgan will have to try and hold out for whatever play is left today and all day tomorrow. I'm not hopeful.

Not surprised we've taken a battering from everything the weather can throw at us in the last 3 hours. Not as bad as Japan mind!

Even more unconvinced by Benks' statement that we'd bowl Glos out for under 200!

He didn't say we would today...he said if we bowled yesterday in those conditions.

I don't think the pitch has played that badly at all throughout the game so far. Apart from our middle order collapse everyone else has coped with it fine.

Glamorgan 2 down at the close trailing Surrey by 175 runs. The two wickets are both very annoyingly lbw batty. Hopefully Wright and Goodwin can bat well tomorrow morning and the rest can repeat the first innings efforts.

Ah that seems far more realistic.

Just like we can't get that sixth/seventh batsmen right this season (basically Gatting), we can't get that third seamer right - be it Coles or Balcombe. And losing Abbott makes the latter worrying.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.

I'd be playing Wood personally, although he was poor last season, offers us something different.

Remember when we played them earlier in the season, Kyle and Tommo got 5 wickets in under 7 overs, need a repeat of that.
