Just had at least 24 dot balls in a row. Back to back games where our scoring rate has been poor.

Will Smiths SR is abysmal again, scoring at under 30 again.

At least our first 4 batsmen have all scored double figures. I wonder how often that has happened this season - not surprisingly it won't happen too much in T20 games.

Without actually checking, I think Vince has had a few LBWs this year.

REALLY bad time for Smith to go, now have 2 new batsmen at the crease,

Still 45 is another good score for Smith

Boycott always says that you are only ever 2 balls away from a collapse & after a pretty good season we now seem less conVINCEing but hopefully the years of regular collapses are behind us.

6 down - Gatting gone for 6. Any chance of at least 1 batting point?

I know Glos haven't batted yet, but a few negative feelings have begun to come to the surface about the way our season is starting to go. Our form in the T20 has definitely dipped and although we are still unbeaten in CC and our form is okay, Surrey are starting to motor and although we have a game in hand and a points advantage that could quickly disappear with a couple of Surrey wins and we fail to win our next two.

And just as i'm typing the walking wicket gets out, marvellous.

Perhaps you ought to be a bit worried?

Vince has been terrific throughout the first half of the season, and hasn't interested England even remotely. Now that his form has started to dip a bit, he'll probably get called up for the second test, fail to rescue the mis-firing undropables, and get sent back to Hants with his head in tatters

wouldn't be the first time, that's happened to a promising player

I guess a few weeks back we were a bit worried about Vince getting the England call, but right now some of us are probably thinking they can have him.

You never quite know how people are going to fair when they make the transition from a county side to the national side. Some players have all the talent in the world but flop on the big stage while others that seem blessed with average ability have something in their psyche which enables them to perform at the highest level. Hoping Vince isn't in the former category but we may never find out.

8 down and looking like no batting points, which must be the first time this season.
