Shame Kent couldn't help us out in T20 last night - Roy is on fire. Can't see Surrey being troubled by anything less than 200 at the Oval currently. At least the top two play each other this week.

What news on Dawson? We could do with him returning, freshen up the squad a bit.

A Hants memebr told me last night that there were concerns about Slug in limited overs matches "at committee level" but they were persisting with him until Dawson returned. If Slug improves then Hants will have a nice selection dilemma!

Don't believe that for a second, Slug has been our most succesful ever player in terms of trophys won, it will take more than 4-5 bad T20s to make anyone doubt it...not sure who this commitee is, but only Benks and White will have any say over his future inclusions

I agree that Benks & White (+ Vince?) are the ones that count but my mate was on the police force & deals in facts not gossip. He said that the members he sees at home matches feel that the T20 form has not been convincing despite Hants often leading the table but CC form has been what they've been hoping to see for some years now. Difficult to disagree with those views!

Is Shah still in the picture?

Was he signed just for a limited number of matches initially? I guess we'll find out tonight if he's still in the picture.

According to the Hants website, Shah is named in an unchanged 13 for tonight. Vince says the Surrey result was a "blip that we wish to put behind us".

He made him comeback in a t20 last week.

Himself, McManus and Wood combined together to score a total a one run between them in that match (from Dawson).

Kent have won the toss and they will bowl first at Canterbury.

Unchanged XI, No Shah, No Wheater.

What's up with Wheater? Another game he's gone missing.
