Very odd that Rankin only gets on in 43rd over, then takes 2 wickets. Chris Wright seems to has lost it this year and is expensive to boot.

Every dog has his day AC and anyway he has a record of plundering runs v Warks at Edgbaston.

He's having a good season though. Second ton in not many matches and not much fanny dangle.

Finally Warks bowlers get their act together and take the last 5 wickets for the cost of only 10 runs. Warks top order now MUST perform which they've generally failed to do this season. Godd luck to Trott a solid performance from him would be great.

Good to see Trego is bowling again I was worried he might be injured.

Porterfield goes early so Trott comes in with the new ball in the hands of Aussie Siddle.

Not surprisingly Siddle welcomes Trott with two bouncers.

Trott goes LBW to Addams jut before lunch and our middle order are now left to develope this innings. Trott 23 runs mostly in boundaries.

Now Chopra goes bowled by Fletcher and our top order once again fails to make a mark. Notts are continuing to show a real threat by their recent form. They are now my favourites to win the championship, although they lose the services of Siddle after this game.

I use my middle name because my dad and I had the same first name so mum called me by my second and I'm more used to it.
