I don't think too many neutrals were upset at seeing Honduras lose again....

we? I thought you were supporting the South American teams?

Well, I carry a British passport, and I was born in Britain, so that makes me entitled to say "we". Who I "support" is irrelevant to my nationality. Did you die and get reincarnated as Norman Tebbitt?

Looking forward to seeing Messi today as always. In 20 years time they may talk about him like they talk about Pele, and we will be the ones whom witness it. :salute

They certainly were fierce little tacklers. Always been a difficult team to play in the CONCACAF.

73% of the possession but zero goals from Argentina in the first half. Displaying England-esque finishing skills.

Iran at one stage there had 19 passes/touches to Argentine s 100+ and 76% possession. A goal is badly needed to fire this match up and Argentine have had plenty of chances.
Higuain and Di Maria are having shockers.

Still cant believe Tavez could not make this team. I think he would have had a better fit with Messi.

Messi needs to cross the ball to himself and maybe they will score.

Just as well for the Iranians that Shine Worn (stolen this name from HFTB) isn't a football commentator. Parking the bus for the 2nd game in a row... #LoseToWin

I didn't see their first match, but this is unbelievable. As much as I hate to watch it you have to hand it to them for managing to pull it off so far. Can't believe you would come all the way to the world cup and play like this though.

Much better from them in the second half. Bossed Argentina, almost.

Well that was the most painful 90 minutes of football I've seen in some time.

At least we had a Messi goal, but it barely makes up for the rest of it.
