Sorry for England, but a huge result for Costa Rica.

I miss the days we were at least good enough to go out on penalty shoot outs.

Amazing how ordinary "world class" Italy and Uruguay have looked against "minnows" Costa Rica, isn't it? Maybe, just maybe, we didn't play all that well against these "world class" teams perhaps?

On a disturbing note just saw an interview with the director of the Mexican National team about the Mexican fans chanting anti gay slurs as goal keepers kick the ball and He supported the fans.

He said they should have their freedom of speech, and that the team will most likely be fined.

I have heard before a Mexican commentator support the fans on this on American TV and received no backlash. Have we lost the plot and taken a step back to 1970?

Interesting, and no one wants to blame Hodgsen. :facepalm

At the start of the game yesterday Roy was biting his finger nails. I thought to my self, wow if I were a player or a fan and saw that I would be concerned.

Wonder what excuses Sussex has for that.

Reliable source... a bloke on Twitter quoting something an ITV pundit said. :lmao :lmao

If you must know, before the game Frank Lampard said that Hodgson had asked him and Gerrard to speak to the team about the importance of turning good play into results, and remind them that the press forgot about about how well you play if you lose.

Much ado about nothing..
