FIFA World Cup group stages

The beautiful game!

The best match of the tournament so far. What an action packed game.... The Cahill goal was simply insane. Sadly this was his last WC appearance in all likelihood after the suspension. RVP to miss the next match too. Might be a blessing in disguise as the Dutch are virtually already through and he may get a few extra days to recover. He was limping a bit when he was substituted today.

Well that could be that Australia have the second most number of travelling fans after the USA, and there were some 18,000 in the stadium. Quite an incredible number when you think about it.

When do Aussie fans, mo matter how many count as everyone. Oh of course you are a typical one eyed Aussie so for you they do.

I notice you have a fondness for the word "idiot" and "stupid" and that at least one of those words is used in everyone of your posts. :P

The Dutch are quite impressive, despite the scare by the Assies.

I must say it's difficult to believe Australia are the lowest ranked team in this WC. Shows how strange rankings can be.

Against the run of play. Spain were getting caught by Holland in similar fashion.

70 minutes to avoid two meaningless games so perhaps it would be good for Spain to get back in the game.

I can see a sending off coming up for Chile if they don't keep their heads. They look a little volatile.
