Hopefully, if you had offered me 4 down by lunch, I would of ripped your arm off.

Bates has now conceded 23 byes in the game

Either the pitch is really that bad, in terms of keeping low or Wheater takes the gloves back next week.

Good to see my FL player Coles has finally come alive but one has to sympathize with Leicestershire having to bat 4th on a wicket that is so in favour of bowlers.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

From what they said on commentary he isn't "injured" has a slight bruised heel, he can bowl if needed, but at this point there is no point in forcing him to bowl for the sake of it.

Yes the pitch is wearing on the last day like most pitches do and cracks have appeared here and there, but we did make the highest innings total of the match batting third on the wicket so decent bowling has to be taken into consideration aswell.

Really pleased for him, will there be a place in the side for him going forward with Dawson out, especially as his batting is solid these days.
