I remember DL saying that 'mystery' spinners like Mendis would just get smacked out of the ground in the Yorkshire league....... well Plunkett has just demonstrated perfectly, DL's point. On a day when everyone in the Yorkshire team looked to have been faffing about trying to survive; trying to negotiate their way through the innings; trying to build and to stabilise...... Pudsey just gave it a biff. Decent enough tactic at this time of the year.

I am abit confused why the games start on a Sunday..wouldnt it make more sense to start them on a Friday or a Saturday ( until the T20s start ) and get an extra day of weekend fans and people leaving early on a Friday and sneaking in for an evening session ??
