Notts lose Mullaly early. Middlesex could be on here if they can pick up one or two quickly.

Northants finally out 75 behind Durham, have they done enough to force the draw?

Someset 100 plus change away from Yorkshire, they may force the draw in that game too.

450 plays 375 against the county Champions.... pretty decent effort I would say

Yes. Looks to have been a bit of a battle though. They've squeezed the game enough to give themselves a glimmer of an outside chance if Durham chase a result.

All they have to think is, bowl poorly and face a target of 350 odd in two and a half sessions to bat out, bowl well and face a smaller target over shorter.....

Either way to cover the "Northants win" Durham don't want to leave less than say 300 on the board, and more than 2 sessions to get it. And the more time they give to bowl them out, the high the risk they get skittled for nothing, or the lower the obtainable target.

Difficult game for Durham to approach batting third. Do you slog and risk making 200 by the end of today, giving Northants a very realistic chance of winning.... ? Did you make sure you put runs on the board and play into Northants wishes of a draw?

Either way, on a flat pitch you would expect Northants able to draw the game

100/0 for Sussex.... barring another utter collapse we have given ourselves a great chance of chasing this down now

Hopefully it can be a mutual celebration of Joyce's double hundred, but it will probably be like the previous 9,995...utter nonsense
