Didnt the Italian bloke give them money assuming he would own the club? Do they have to pay that back? Can they?

That is an interesting point, GFH Capital don't want to go down the Administration route but if Cellino wants his money back then GFH's hands are forced.

EDIT: Apparently Cellino is owed £10 Million according to Calendar.

I understand the FA rejecting him, but it does highlight a rather hilarious double crossing argument here....

The fit and proper person test is there to safeguard the future of clubs from bankruptcy to make sure the person taking over has the financial clout to stand the costs of running a team..... but they rejected this guy on a dodgy criminal past, but have arguably condemned Leeds to League One, administration, and possible winding up....

I feel sorry for Leeds, its about time they found an owner who wasn't a complete an utter ****- tard!

True to a certain degree. Cellino's lawyer was on Late Kick Off the other week and he said half the charges against him are no longer unlawful or don't apply in England.

However Leeds are losing £1 Million per month, not only it's unsustainable in the Championship but it breaches next seasons Financial Fair Play. Made me laugh when John Hendrie said Leeds badly need investment, more like they need to reduce their losses.

Leeds currently dont own there own ground, traing ground or other facilities, they are losing £1 million a month and have been living off a man who doesnt even own them, money. They are in a real mess and the fact is they REJECTED in january an offer for ross mccormack for a few million looks to have comeback to bite them. I also think this if they do go into admin will be the 2nd time since there premier league relegation, so a 15/20 point deduction would be mandatory not just the 10 points.... But quite frankly i dont see how anyone would want to buy them before admin as the £1million losses a month is crippling debt to get hold of and then turn around, i think we may see a massive collapse and a fire sale in the summer. Sadly for leeds fans league one looks more likely then the premier league

It's ironic Leeds fans wanted Ken Bates out and now they are worse off. I suppose the large losses do explain why their star players did leave but it also makes you wonder what Leeds did with the Fabian Delph money.

Still no news on whether payments have been made to the staff.... Admin by the end of the day? But ignoring all that how are leeds going to survive under FFP next season?

Ross McCormack said on SkySportsNews that he rejected a club because he didn't want to leave, and he had known Brian McDermott would be sacked ( at this point everyone thought he had been ) he would of considered going.

So doesn't sound like Leeds rejected an offer for him.

Its looking like Pearce could be returning to the city ground. Could be a good move in the short term, though not sure how it would work in the longer term. Forest have become a joke behind the scene but thankfully Leeds are taking alot of the media spotlight away from us :rasta

Still a chance for the play offs, but we need Ried back, oh and a miracle.

I wouldn't be happy with Pearce if I was a Forest fan, think there are better managers available, Steve Clarke and Zola spring to mind.

and then what ? they'd be better at picking someone who can come in for the last 7 ( ? ) games this season, have a proper look at the squad and make a proper push next season

I agree. Imagine if this Forest team crept onto the play-off's, then went up. They may end up beating or not beating Derby's 11 point record.

Sounds like there is to much interfering going on, for any decent manager to want to go there.

From my understanding Clarke is on gardening leave and Zola in theory cant start till the summer :hmmm

Mccarthy, Malkay, Warnock(thank god), Pearce(a week ago) have all turned down forest.

There is some major problems behind the scenes, possibly with the owners and a lack of staff. We have no CEO and a threadbear amount of coaches now. Nothing really coming out other than rumours. But it seems like the owner has no idea how to run a club, and wants a say in team selection.

Im happy the mad Scot Billy has gone, but its now becoming a joke with the number of manager and players who have come for interviews and then turned us down. something not right.

I cant see forest going up at all this season, and if they did they would be hammered in the PL. In saying that there are a few young players coming through who davies would not play who should now get a game. But for some reason i think we will be like Leeds withing 2 years.

No point appointing a Manager now tbh. The merry go round will start at the end of the season, and someone like Chris Hughton would be a good match for Forest, he is a goner unless Norwich end the season in destructive form (even survival wont save him on its own).
