Hard to guess. New coach. New lead selector. Suggestions in the press are that Morgan, Borthwick and Onions will play. So that leaves an opener (Carberry/Root/Robson/Chopra) a three or four depending on where Bell bats (Root/Ballance/Taylor/Robson) and a keeper (see above).

Durhamfootman wrote:assuming you are right, and England go Cook, Carbs, Bell, Root, Morgan, Stokes, then Moeen would have fit in at 7 as a PT offie, with Prior at 8, or
Borthwick would have to bat 8 with Prior at 7.
put like that, I suppose the latter is probably the more like option of the 2
If Morgan is out or not selected, then that would tend to put Moeen back in the frame, with Borthwick missing out
I'm still not convinced that they'll go with Onions. With Stokes in the side, England only need 3 seamers, and Bresnan, Broad and Ando have those slots sewn up atm, IMO. Onions might be in the squad, but will likely only play if one of the other 3 isn't fit
That gives room to fit Woakes at 7 with Prior at 8
