Rumour going around it's Aaron Finch, who is following the White Rose County on the social networking site Twitter.

Finch is more than likely to be covering for Kane Williamson who is on international duty between May and July.

He hit one of them (might have been 2 of them) right over the top of Bannatynes and into the car park on the far side. And that was before T20 cricket bats were 3 feet thick!

It's official, Aaron Finch has signed for Yorkshire

"This is one of the biggest cricket clubs in the world with a history and tradition second to none," Finch said.

"I've heard so much about the place and can't wait to join up with Jason Gillespie [Yorkshire first-team coach] and the rest of the squad in May.

"When I heard Yorkshire were interested in signing me, I had no hesitation in signing. I had a good chat with Darren Lehmann [Australia coach] and he recommended that I joined the club. He can't speak highly enough of the place and Yorkshire's loyal supporters."



It's about time Yorkshire are taking Twenty20 cricket seriously with a marquee signing, with the added bonus of much needed batting cover for the County Championship campaign.

Just can't imagine it, he's probably the best domestic limited overs bowler i've ever had the pleasure in watching live.

He was shot to bits by the end of the over... he just kept putting the ball in the slot. . I'm pretty certain it's the only time I ever saw him 'pulled' from the attack. The odd thing was the first ball was there to be hit too, but Ealham seemed content to hit it along the ground. It was also the early days of T20, when we were still trying to work out what a decent 20 over score was. It was certainly the first time that I'd seen 5 6's in an over at the riverside, but sadly it wasn't the last, because a few years later, Fozzie hit the first 5 balls of a Borthwick over for 6, until somebody (might have been Killer, not sure) went up to Scotty and got him to fire the ball in somewhere strange (can't remember where), just so that he couldn't be hit for a maximum 36
