I would be very willing.

However, I don't fancy any of your bowlers - not in place of Rafiq any way. So to make to trade, we'd have to do a dual trade (because I don't want to be a bowler light).

If you're willing to trade Read, Chanderpaul and Graeme Smith for one of my batsmen/WKs, I'd trade Rafiq for one of your bowlers. Of course, not all of my batsmen are available for trade though (namely Trescothick, Adams, and Chopra)!

Wessels for Read?
Rafiq for Anderson or Norwell?

Are they your only two bowlers up for offer? Norwell is a non-starter. I'd only take Jimmy if it was Smith traded for Wessels.

(I've got no problems with Wessels for Read, but it doesn't quite make up for Rafiq for Jimmy in my mind, given that Jimmy may never play - I'd basically still be a bowler light, which is the exact thing I'm trying to avoid by suggesting two trades)

Norwell played in Gloucestershire's opening game. The only other I would be willing to trade is Franks as I can't let Smith go.

Exactly. He played for Gloucester

I like Franks, and if I could be sure that he'd play most weeks, then I'd go with that. But I can see him being a drinks carrier for Notts on a regular basis.

Reluctantly therefore, because I really like Read, I'm going to say to say no deal (unless you want to Read-Wessels as a stand alone swap). My bowling reserves would just be too weak. I can see myself having to start Rafiq on a fairly regular basis.

Not a chance in hell. I targetted five main names going into the auction, and I (eventually) got four of them. I'm not going to let one of them (ie Tresco/Chopra) go already - even though Dawson was that fifth person who I missed out on!

Fair enough, I will wait to see who I get from this weeks trade, but Crook does interest me. Anyone in my squad you'd trade for him ? Proctor perhaps ?

I didnt really plan for the weeks that Hants dont play when I bid on Slug,Daws,Tommo,Balcs and Wood and then I got Bailey in the lottery

And after last week, Crook suddenly interests me too

I would obviously happily consider taking any of your Hants boys. I only have Jimmy.

ianp1970 wrote:Team scores will be calculated by dividing the total number of runs your team's players by the total number of wickets (including half points for wicket-keeper dismissals) taken by your opponents, and vice versa.

The highest score of the of the 2 teams would win the match and be awarded 3 points, if the scores were level both teams would take a point each. The team with the highest number of points over the season would take the title.

This is the scoring system. It is basically calculating the runs per wicket for each match.

If you're players score more runs and take more wickets that your opponents, you will win that week's match. If you score more/less runs but take less/more wickets, the winner will depend on the difference in runs and wickets totals. If you score less runs and take less wickets, you will lose!

Hope this helps.
