What part didnt you understand ??

Anton Ferdinand took JT to court, a court of law found him not guilty - now Anton is still acting like a victim and a petulant little child. Disgraceful.

The court found him not guilty on a technicality. And if Ferdinand doesn't want to shake hands with a bloke who still abused him, the only question was the racial element, then who the hell are you to say who he should and shouldn't shake hands with?

I love watching football, but there are few footballers I would spend time with, nor would I ever go to a match again unless it were an international. They are similar to basketballers and NFL players IMHO, not often having a great education, and many come from the wrong side of the tracks. They really are not worth arguing over especially the half witted yobbo ones.

John Terry was falsely accused of something and was found to be INNOCENT in court, he could of refused to shake Antons hand, he didnt. John Terry ( who I dont like at all ) proved hes a bigger man than Anton, who proved hes a petulant little child, further supported by his snub of Ashley Cole.

Saint
I see your point but can understand Anton's reasoning.
The one thing I couldn't understand was Park's refusal to shake Terry's hand at before kick-off. That to me was more petulant.

Well he wasn't falsely accused of anything as he acknowledged saying what he was alleged to have said. It came down purely to a sense of the insinuation of the remarks and this would have gone against Terry had the judge not dismissed a lip-readers evidence, everyone who reported on the trial or who was in court has said so.

If I was in Anton Ferdinands shoes I'd have done exactly the same thing. But then I guess I'm just a pathetic excuse for a human being as well.

Isn't John Terry guaranteed to get fined/banned from the FA?

To be honest I lost all interest in the Ferdinands' campaign after Rio's comments towards Ashley Cole.

They get paid enough to kick a ball round for my enterainment so they should just get on with it and who gives a stuff if they don't shake hands.

The FA will look purely at what was said and not the context, which is what got Terry off in court. As there appears to be little doubt Terry actually said the words, the likelihood is he'll get a ban. Maybe not a Suarez-length ban, but a ban nonetheless.

Anton is acting like a kid, proved wrong and cant handle it.

Huh? Was it telling that Anelka, Mikel etc didn't plead for Terry?

Anton is acting like a kid, proved wrong and cant handle it.

He wasn't proved wrong necessarily, there wasn't enough evidence for court, something not of Anton's doing anyway, but for the FA there is probably enough evidence. I see no issue with not shaking someone's hand who you think has racially abused you, whether you do is different but maybe you haven't experienced it.

The FA, to put it into context, found a total of two not-guilty verdicts out of the 473 cases it heard in 2011.
