I think there are acouple of issues having read the ESPN report on this,

1) Players looking to get extra money for their IPL contract
2) Bowling No-balls/wides for money.

If a player is seeking to get a better contract then who can blame them, looking around espceially when IPL contracts are up for renewal after next years IPL.

The second one is just out of order if it wasnt entrapment by the TV company should be banned from all cricket by the BCCI, if genuinly guilty.

I've watched the videos, this has very little to do with IPL on fixing. This isn't TOI.

This is India TV. Believing NOTW is one thing, believing everything India TV says without proof is another.

Sorry but what you say is incorrect on the evidence so far and much of what is being reported is sensationalist bs.

There is no evidence that the IPL is fixed, at all. There's a guy who hasn't played IPL this year, the recording is from last year and he says he will fix no balls but he hasn't played and he says they faked it.

Shows how good the media are when you guys are ignorant to the video.

Credit to the BCCI for dealing with this, no denial, players suspended for the underhand deals and the spot fixing in a local game pending investigation I think. But really the franchises should be investigated if you really want to stop underhand deals.

They showed prominent Delhi bookie in dressing room during a match. What more proof is needed. Dressing room presence is only allowed to staff and duty boys.
