Well..... todays events have worried me somewhat. I was confident that the PCB and ICC would stamp down on this. It now seems that there is a lot of back-tracking going on. Now, apparently, the 3 players are totally innocent and have suffered mental torture (to which Mikey referred).
Mental torture? Now if they'd referred to mental anguish... fair enough.... but, mental torture? That suggests that the police or the media or the authorities are in some way actively trying to inflict distress on the poor chaps!
All the language coming from the PCB seems now to be bullish, rather than contrite.
I can smell a fudge and a cover up coming.
