Hogg an unfamiliar name to me. It is interesting to see him included.
This game might give an indication as to how the season will pan out, Worcestershire pre-season relegation favourites but they have started strongly.

Bas and Coggers

terrible start.... Borthwick first over and Lees 5 overs later 19-2

Jones might be back opening sooner than expected

have we made the wrong call again?

looks like it to me. Outground, delayed start, on and off for the weather, yet we chose to bat. Might have been nothing more than a response to the dreadful decision to bowl first last week

work to do, but we have the players to do it..... (I hope :scared )

I think you're right. Not the greatest birthday for the great leader! 141/7.

Well this is it, isn’t it? Choose to bowl and spend the next 4 sessions taking 3 wickets, then following that by choosing to bat and struggling to survive 2 sessions suggests a distinct lack of clarity of thought

We could do with another Potts century

You do wonder if that decision last week is playing on his mind and he's worried about bowling first instead of just looking at the conditions. Although it must be a collective decision between captain , coach and senior players.

made it to 244. Another match, another failure to get a batting point. we got 51 last year if I remember correctly

2 quick wickets though, so we'll see.... it is an outground after all

oh dear... here it comes

Raine and Potts.... two quick wickets, miserly econ

Bas and Coggers.... no wickets and going for 6 an over

Last year Bas had a knack of picking up key wickets, so maybe he'll do that again. Libby and Jones rollicking along now

67-2

Better end to the day. Tomorrow obviously a vital one - particularly the morning session. Libby a thorn in the side, could really do with getting rid of him early on.

I spoke too soon! Looks like they're back on.

Coggers it is who makes the breakthrough with 2 late wickets

76-4 going into tomorrow. We probably need to lift Libby early doors

au contraire.... we're still going.

I did wonder but thought they wouldn't come back out at this time if they'd had to go off again

They're blocking atm. 1 run off the last 5 overs for the loss of Hose. Crapinfo says there's to be one more over after this one

there was... and I presume that's it for the day 78-4

playing until 7.15 on an outground in April after a stop start day for the weather. Who'd have thunk it?
