Sounds a bit more hopeful.

I'm hoping to find out who gets selected in our top 6 sometime this month

Annoying to say the least but Demain's comments after day one implied any more rain could be terminal. Frustrating thing is that I think it has been dry during the first three days but some overnight rain has scuppered things.

not sure we could have played in this wind anyway. I think it's the worst it's been across any of the 11 named storms since Sept. It's certainly causing a lot of damage in Footman Tower gardens

Yes. Seems particularly strong winds today.

no overnight rain, wind gone....... probably best to call it off early and then everyone can go home

top of the table without bowling a ball

today's abandonment is perhaps the least surprising thing that I'll encounter today

Campbell said de Leede and Jones would have missed out had we got on the field. Dead batted questions about the umpires!

I was surprised we decided to bowl given the kookaburra ball and short boundaries...and it seems even stranger now. 71/0 after an hour!

146/0 at lunch. Disastrous session to say the least!

shortest of short boundaries, I believe,

and Warks had a good work out whilst we sat twiddling our thumbs

but blimey, we could do with a wicket or two straight after lunch

and probably not let Carse bowl too much
