Rehan Ahmed has made a very good start to the season with both wickets and runs in a match against the obviously best side in the division. He seems to have come a long way in a short time

I was listening to a podcast yesterday with Harmy and Dobell

there is something to come regarding Yorkshire and their punishment. It's been delayed, but is coming soon and it's expected that it will involve a sizeable points deduction. As Dobell points out... one county (Durham) got a 10 point deduction for a player having the wrong sized bat, so if that's a guide, then Yorks perhaps ought to be bracing themselves for a massive points deduction... the sort of deduction that would stop them getting promoted this season even of they perform very well

me...... I'm half expecting that they'll get a paltry points deduction, because it's Yorkshire and they do have clout as a county

I guess we'll see

Warks have a first innings lead and have 5 wickets in hand, but not a lot of time to do much with it

Derbys have a lot of work to do to keep Worcester from winning

Durham are dead in the water after a 3rd innings batting nightmare

Gloucs fight back v Glammy and give themselves a reasonable chance of saving the game

Leics making a fist of their match v Yorks, but are still under the pump with only an outside chance of the draw. Awaiting the Yorks declaration 322 ahead

Umpires can delay tea by a maximum of 15 minutes if they think a result is possible, we had already played 15mins when scores were tied.

Seems farcical, was farcical, but rules are rules
