Off for bad light! You'd hope the umpires would be a bit more flexible in this situation- surely in everyone's interest to get this over with. I'm on my way down and the radio commentators are saying brighter skies are imminent- Ben Raine pointing at the sky!

they can stay off for a long time for me, because I've swapped everything around so that I can go for the day tomorrow. I'd be devastated if we got on top of Leics in poor light and then they threw the towel in after tea

Pottsy has jumped into the fray. Not sure who has made way for him

Coughlin. Personally I'd have had him in for Fernando .
Seems certain to go into tomorrow- 7 down now but umpires getting twitchy with the light.
8 down now

Ben Cox. Think he has been a thorn in our side over the years? Even in a presumably hopeless situation he's digging in again

Going off again
Martin Emmerson saying he's not sure we'll enforce the follow-on. Unless I'm overlooking something obvious surely it should be a formality...but his co-commentator mentioned the same thing earlier. We can't lose so surely batting again would just make the draw much more likely.

Back on! Another instance of going off when brighter skies were about to arrive.

All out and I think there are 40 overs left in theory.

Follow on has been enforced. Not sure why Emmerson thought it might not be.

Off again after 1 over and it now looks very gloomy all around the ground. Not sure if we'll get much more play here - in theory there were 43 overs left, didn't lose any for the changeover because tea was taken.

Might be brightening up but I think you can be sure of plenty of play tomorrow- unless there are more light issues. Forecast suggests there won't be but neither did today's!

About to resume- there's a big black cloud looming but brighter behind it. Now will these umpires finally use some common sense and just get on with it.
