I see Poynter is back as a pathway coach with Rimmer and John Windows coaching under 13's

Kuhnemann has a stress fracture of the back and is going home...and Tristan Stubbs has been selected for SA A team so won't be available for the Blast! I thought things were going too well..I'm not too bothered about the T20 but it's essentially to replace Kuhnemann- maybe Todd Murphy ?

Or extend Matt Parkinson's loan. I also think his brother has issues at Leicestershire- declined a contract extension if I remember rightly and that's why he lost the captaincy.

pity about George. Can't blame Kevin Shine this time

yes... we do need to replace him. Murphy would be ideal

Ben Raine will know Callum Parkinson. Not even sure if he's even playing with Rehan Ahmed making such an inpact

I think you're right, isn't playing in the current game and suspect he hasn't played in the previous ones.
There's been nothing- surprise surprise- from Durham about Kuhnemann or Stubbs but Martin Emmerson must have been given the info.
I wonder if the two week Parkinson loan - one game because we're not playing next week - was because we thought MK would only be out for a week, if it was because Lancs wouldn't agree to a longer one, or if we already have a replacement lined up.

Losing George is a damned shame, though

Lets hope we've at least prepared the ground for signing him up for next year

Emmerson now saying they're "still waiting for the official result" of Kuhnemann's scan.

Dobell is questioning the reasons behind Parkinson's loan move. He wonders whether North got him in, not primarily as cover for Kuhnemann, though that was the stated reason, but as an exercise in getting into his ear for a couple of weeks as part of a permanent move bid for next season. Seemingly Matt Parkinson is into or approaching the final year of his Lancs contract. He notes that North did the same thing bringing Robbo in on loan for the T20. He points out the flatter Riverside pitch and therefore our need for a decent leggie moving forward

Harmy isn't so sure. He thinks that he's still a big part of Lancs white ball plans, irrespective of what their plans are for the championship

It's a thought, though. It did seem a little odd to bring him in for 2 weeks when we have a week off in that period

It'll be interesting to see how it pans out, doesn't seem to be any suggestion the deal will be extended so maybe we've got an overseas replacement ready or Lancs won't extend the deal in which case Harmy is probably right.
I think it was a two week deal because that's the minimun allowable loan period, it means he'll miss Lancashire's game this week.

Ajaz Patel replacing Kuhnemann- seems like a good signing. I don't know anything about him apart from his 10 wickets in sn innings against India - part of a pretty exclusive club!

Good spot Capt. He's certainly experienced. His bio says he was leading wicket taker in the Plunket Shield 3 years running prior to his NZ call up

I didn't know about his India 10fer, but if he can emulate that against the Yorkies, I'll be a happy man

According to 'the cricketer', we've replaced Stubbs with Ashton Turner for the Dribble

Now he's a really good T20 player as we saw in the early stages of last season, so hopefully he won't get injured early like last year.

Is Lees skipper?
