I see that Bostock says we are 100% committed to having a Silly team. So that's nice.... I can hardly wait (sarcasm alert). Presumably this is after lots of research into the views of members on the subject :?

I rather wish that he'd followed the modern trend of saying we were 110% committed, because then I'd know for certain that he was talking out of his @rse

That'll be the very members who donated their membership fees, "Durham Defenders",during the Covid season.

Tom Mackintoh has retired from professional cricket with immediate effect

Me too. Must have decided pro sport is not for him and I suppose it's better to come to that decision when he still has plehty of other options.

Bedders is in for the India test. They have him batting at 6 in the order. Fielding today though

Good start. Out for 56 - a good delivery according to ESPN - and a 131 partnership with Dean Elgar. Ridiculous that the SA board have effectively forced tue latter into retirement.

pleased for him. 56 against a strong India side is a good start. As far as I can tell, SA haven't anything on during the county season.... which is handy

The lions are playing India A atm. The England line up includes Lees, Robbo, Carse, Potts and Parky. That's a lot of Durham players

Jennings is playing too
