Durham-esque, although Durham wouldn't have batted for 94 overs before doing that

Justice! That's a blessing. But let's not overlook how awful the umpiring has been against us - there must be complaints filed.

I don't think enough people noticed Darren Stevens' awful start to the season, and by the fourth game, he has been dropped. Is it as a result of this year's flatter pitches?

well I noticed because he's in my FL side. Usually flatter pitches just means he scores more runs, but not this year.
I think he'll end up retiring at some point in 2022. I just have to hope it isn't before the end of the season

200-1 in the second innings on top of 600 declared and 650 declared, suggests that the bowlers didn't have a hope
1455-18 by the time they put the game out of its misery

3 x ninety and only 1 score below 20 for Surrey. We need good scores all down the order if we're to escape with a draw. Five batting points must be the the first target.
