Here we go.... a month before the new season starts

I confess I have no idea what this season's warm up schedule is. Lets hope we haven't left it up to the boys responsible for the England ashes warm ups

V University 24th March
tba 2 2 day games v other counties, each team batting for a whole day.
But ssh!, it's obviously meant to be top secret from all those Durham Defenders who the club value so much.

We're opening with Sean Dickson in the absence of Lees. Partnering Jones

And Dickson (58) is the only batsman to have succeeded! 20's for Jones and Bedingham.
Shouldn't matter in the long run but not a good start!

50 partnership between Coughlin and Raine. 203/6.

Very handy to have depth in the batting. 100 stand between Trevaskis and Raine - although the latter has gone now for 87.

Do these games still have first class status? I have a feeling they don't.

They always used to be first class matches. I presume they still are

351-8 looks a lot healthier than 152-6

I note that Badger came in at 4 today. I presume that means the other KP will indeed bat at 3

there are 12 players on the teamsheet. If Gibson is there as a concussion substitute that's fine, but if he bowls tomorrow then it can't be first class

Good spot. It mustn't be a first class match.

No, they're no longer 1st class.
Be interesting tomorrow which will indicate whether it's a dodgy wicket or dodgy batting that led to 152-6.
