I see Imran Tahir is still going strong 3-16 in the PSL. Matthew Potts is there too - first game is on Saturday.
Apparently the TV commentators worked out how many different teams Tahir has played for...51!!

He's currently leading scorer ,509 runs, in CSA 4 day championship, shoo in you'd expect for the test team. S Africa have 2 test series v Bangladesh in April then tour England.Durham in right mess without him and possibly Lees.

Not in contention for Bangladesh, but if SA start losing against England then he would be well placed for them

Update on Carse's rehab-just building up body strength so not yet bowling presumably. No way he'll be fit for start of season - yet another absence from our paper thin squad.

Mark Wood earns himself a nifty £750k in the IPL auction, so we won't be seeing him at all for the first half of the CC... and, of course, England will have him for the rest of it

Steve Smith didn't get a gig.... maybe we should be picking up the phone. He's the only member of the sandpaper crew who hasn't played for us yet
