From Sunday Times.
Harmi- the coach I most looked up to.

Geoff Cook, the most amazing man in the world. He was the first person to see me and believe in me. I was a complex character; he protected and looked after me. Durham’s ground should be named after him.

That suggestion will go down well with Lord Botham

Goodbye Marcus North according to the Telegraph??Times also hinted at it yesterday.
"At this stage, Marcus North, the former Australian Test batsman who is Durham’s director of cricket, appears the favourite. North has a long grounding in the English game, after representing five counties during his playing career and is viewed as a shrewd strategic thinker".
I have also been of the opinion that Bostock has his eyes on being Harrison's successor- he's well in at ECB apparently.

Yes, the story in today's Times also names North as the favourite.

Yes, it seems as if he is the favourite to replace Strauss.

Yeh,the Director of Cricket for England team. I'm no great fan of North either but,as with any position, you have to be careful who you wish for. Better the devil you know.. but I'd trust Bostock's judgement.

A few more years of North and all Durham home games will be played at South Northumberland, leaving the Riverside free for internationals and concerts and unsullied by red ball cricket
