I was wondering why KP (the new KP) isn't involved in the thrashing at the hands of NZ, but it seems he tested positive for covid and had to be replaced in the squad. Asymptomatic

Tested at the airport prior to departure. If more concern SAffers play a 2 test series v Bangladesh finishing 12th April. If selected would miss Durham's 1st 2 games, possibly 3rd commencing 21st.

according to our website he's available for 7 CC matches and links up with SA after the Worcester game. I had assumed that the 7 would be the first 7, but the Worcs game mentioned is the 8th match on 12th June, so I guess that means he'll only miss the Glammy match on the 7th April

Yeh,I'd already posted it on the Rafiq racism thread but we need follow up from the likes of Atherton and Hussein on Sky and in their media columns. Hussein should, Atherton won't but Elizabeth Ammon might.
I've emailed Julian Knight and Julie Elliott on the topic.

Good idea. Chances are the ECB will try to ignore it but Dobell- as ever- is doing a great job trying to hold them to account.

Interesting interview with Bedingham- he seems to be open to play for either South Africa or England!

Yep. And settling in up here. He must have had lots of offers so I think he is genuinely was pleased when we retained him as overseas and that's why he extended the contract.

Not the best of start for Lees. At least it wasn't a duck.

Very iffy decision, given in favour of bowler on umpires call.
