Leicestershire can take some positives from this fixture but it is looking very likely to be an innings defeat.

Mason Crane lived up to his reputation as a player that can bowl as many overs as asked as he got six wickets in the morning and a further six in the afternoon.

It wasn’t actually taking ball infront of stumps. Which is what commentary said. He had ball in his right hand appealing for a stumping and the whacks bails off with his empty left hand.

Ban McManus for aslong as you want, but don’t deduct points.

Just noticed that Abbas has become the 3rd Hampshire bowler in the last 4 seasons to take a hat trick, joining Kyle Abbott (2018) and James Fuller (last year)
