Could have done without that wicket on the stroke of lunch but a good recovery nonetheless.

I think if I was choosing between Poynter and Coughlin to bat at 7 I'd go with the latter, it's possibly one place too high for him but definitely too high for Poynter- unless he proves me wrong this afternoon.
I suppose the positive view is that the lower order are mainly capable batsmen but as likely to get blown away as they are to make significant contributions.

Now.... Fletcher picked up the ball and threw it at Burnham, hitting him on his pads and immediately apologising for it. Next ball he fires one down the leg side and Burnham edges the flick to the keeper in classic leg side strangle.
