Doneathy?- been very impressed with his batting in the RL50 and can play the 5th seamer role which we've missed since Harte departed.
Jones 4 Bedingham 5 Ned 6 Doneathy 7

Interested to know if the 100 has affected attendances this year for you boys for matches?

difficult to tell because two of our four home group games were played at Gosforth and Scarborough and the weather was decidedly average for the last group game and the SF. That being said there were still a fair few spectators heading to the ground when I drove past at 11.15 out on my rounds today

Not sure there is much appetite for the rounders up here. They might call Yorkshire the Northern Battery Chargers, but everyone knows that it's still just Yorkshire, so I don't really know anyone who thinks we have a dog in the fight.

Fantastic. Someone told me Notts were after him so either they weren't or we managed to fight them off.

Encouraging to know that we now appear to be able to compete with the moneybags poachers.

Yes, really good news. He's been a revelation this season in all formats, but especially in the championship. Pity about Burnham. It always felt as though he was on the verge of breaking through properly, but never managed to make it.

Not the best of starts for Rocky at Middlesex- out for a 3 ball duck. Lots of wickets around the country this morning.

Even more disastrous in the 2nd innings - out first ball.
