Looked it up - he would have made his test debut against Bangladesh in 2019 but the game was called off following a terrorist attack in Christchurch. His debut was late last year against the West Indies. This is his 3rd test and first half century ( previous best was 43.)

Good news that club have been granted significant increase in capacity for next week's ODI. Exact figure not given but I suspect to 50%.

Excellent. I'm pretty sure it'd be safe at 100% but there was no realistic chance of that.

Franklin appointed assistant coach of Birmingham Phoenix in the dreaded Hundred competition so he will not be here for the RL 50 comp.

Isn't Killeen also involved in the folly with whatever the Headingley outfit call themselves. So presumably Walker and Gidman will be in charge of the shop for RL 50. I' ve no problem with that!
Potts and Carse also involved which makes our bowling resources thin. Gibson and Campbell will presumably be called up. I'm in Tunbridge Wells visiting family and intend taking in games at Beckenham and Hove.

Yes, I think Killeen is involved. Hope it's a good and successful trip. Will certainly be interesting to see what team we put out in the competition.

Would be a good idea.

They usually give Rushy at least some time off during the T20, but I think he normally plays the 50 over stuff

It seems so long since the 50 over games were last played that I can't remember who usually plays!
I believe the final is going to be played mid-week, just shows how much of a priority it isn't! Seems ridiculous for the 50 over World Cup holders to turn the domestic competition into a glorified second X1 tournament. Still, I'm sure The Hundred will be a big hit. :lmao

No, Rushy wasn't involved in RL 50 in 2019 It's mainly going to be a 2nd XI competition this year so I don't suppose it makes sense for him to be involved.
