Seemed business as usual this morning as Kent started the day poorly; 23-3 within six overs - however they rallied back.

Heino Kuhn played a perfect innings after the early losses and is 140* overnight. His tonne was the first of the year from any batsman.

very impressive start from Kuhn

I think that's what you call hitting the ground running

Typical Kent!

After THAT performance in THAT win, Cox isn't able to play in the next match for breaching Covid protocol.

When I read the headline, I was bracing myself for him having gone on the p!ss to celebrate - but the kid took some photos with some academy kids in the car park. Daft ....but I'll forgive it.

yes, an unfortunate lapse in concentration. Easily done I suppose, but you'd hope he won't make the same mistake again

Isaac Dilkes (remotely) impressed me with a score of 77 in a Kent 2nd XI T20 games against Essex. Is part of our Academy but I believe is now off to Uni.

Saw him play at Bromley and looked good value.

Oldest bowler to take a fivefer in English FC cricket since Eddie Hemmings in 1994.

Oldest seamer to get a fiveger in all cricket since Ken Higgs in 1986

Great game v Sussex today....Fred Klassen being painted as the hero but bowled some awful deliveries in the game.....and two pretty poor ones in his 'hero over'.

Holy mackrel.....I'm starting to think we might just pull this off...looking stronger than Notts and Sussex at the moment.

Honourable mention for Jack Plom today who looked decent.
